Hello!

Thank you so much for visiting my website 🙂 I’m often asked how I became a photographer. I love being creative and my degree in Fine Art was the beginning of a wonderful journey that led me to becoming a professional newborn photographer.

It was living in Hong Kong for 5 years and having two babies that gave me the opportunity to flex my photography skills.

I discovered a great demand for family photos, including newborn shoots and so began my little business. When we moved back to the UK I realised that my real passion was newborn photography so I decided to rebrand and become a newborn photography specialist.

That was in 2014 and since then my business has grown almost as quickly as all those babies! Each year at least 50% of my client base is returning customers bringing their second (or third) baby to me for photos. It is always so special seeing the family again and seeing how much their first baby has grown too. You can see some of my photos in the newborn gallery.

I invest each year in specialist workshops, trainings and tutorials to keep my skills up to date and my creative energy high. I am incredibly fortunate to have found a job which I truly love and which fits in around my family life.

I love camping, drumming, being in the woods and playing my native american flute. Here are a few photos of Nakajima family life..
