A Grandparent Portrait session is a balm for this current situation. We are certainly living through some life changing times at the moment aren’t we?! The birth of COVID has meant the death of human contact and no more so than the contact of Grandparents and their Grandchildren. By have a Grandparent Portrait done (once we are allowed) you will reconnect and have something to keep forever to remind you of that bond.

Grandparents Portraits West Sussex

The connection between a grandparent and their newly born grandchild is truly a special one. I’m privileged to have taken photos for many families over the years. I always love it when the grandparents are visiting to see the baby and we can get a lovely shot of them together. The families always treasure the Grandparents Portrait and it’s one for the mantle piece for sure!

It has been on my mind for a while now that I would like to photograph older people more. I meet so many families welcoming newborn babies into their lives. As they are starting out their journey it would be great to also photograph older people as they look back on their lives, achievements and journey would be so amazing too.

It’s like the beginning and end of the same circle – Winter meets spring!

Post- Vaccine Reunions

I think and hope that once the vulnerable and elderly generation are given the vaccine that they will be able to one again enjoy spending time with their loved ones.

How wonderful would it be to have a professional photo taken of Grandparents with their grandchildren? You can celebrate that moment and it will also be a photo that the family treasure for generations to come!

If you would like to buy a Grandparents Portrait voucher as a special gift for a Grandmother or Grandfather do get in touch. Alternatively you can book a Pure Silver session for later in the year when it is safe to have home visits.

All my family photoshoots take place from the comfort of your own home. Relaxed sessions and natural posing and lighting.
